This
charming book will delight you as well as the
children in your life and if you are familiar
with Eckhart Tolle's concept of the pain body
and its close relationship to the ego, this
may help deepen your understanding.
The story opens with two brothers,
Leo and Nico, who are having fun playing together
until they clash over a toy. Nico feels hurt
and Leo is as mad as can be. The story leads
Leo into understanding how it's his ego that
is making him mad and he learns how to form
a harmonious relationship with his ego, helping
him to stay calm and happy in all situations.
I really enjoyed the book,
but given that I am not the target market I
'roadtested' it with my 10-year-old godson.
It received a 'thumbs up' and actually led us
into a really engaging conversation about life
and the meaning of it!!
