What first caught my attention
with this book was how Sonia shared her message
using the metaphor of flying an airplane, both
as crew and passengers. It seems that she crewed
for United Airlines and so was able to draw
of first hand experience.
The central message is about moving
from a fear dominated speed of travel to the
high frequency, fast moving, speed of love.
Each chapter deals with an aspect
of our daily life. For example - chapter one
is called Flying First Class. She uses metaphor
and examples from her professional practice
to show how we sabotage ourselves and fly at
economy speed. She poses a series of questions
for you to answer and then a set of exercises
to shift the energy and blocks.
I was particularly taken
with her honesty around her own journey. I found
her own stories authentic and was able to see
how the exercises and actions she recommended
had made a difference in her life.
